In 1962, Vogue Jewellers opened its doors to the world. The first Vogue Jewellers showroom was opened at 1st Cross Street, Colombo 11 by Mr. Sarath Hemachandra who was a visionary and undoubtedly, ahead of his time.

In 1967, Vogue Jewellers moved its primary showroom to Colpetty, which, at that time was primarily a residential area. As strange as this was to most people, Vogue Jewellers was driven by one idea and that was to be closer to its clientele.
