Managed by Garton’s Hotel (Pvt) Ltd, Garton’s Ark was designed and built by internationally acclaimed Neil Marine – pioneer boat builders in Sri Lanka that supply boats worldwide and are one of the largest boat companies in South East Asia.

Garton’s Ark was launched in November 2014 at the Urban Wetland Park, popularly known as ‘Weli Park’. It is the latest addition to the popular park in the heart of Colombo, which provides people a friendly setting to relax in the city.

Location

Garton’s Ark Sailing Restaurant is situated at the Urban Wetland Park, Nawala, which is down Nawala Road. The Park is a lovely reprieve from the bustling city suburbs, and comprises lush greenery, ponds, children’s play areas, walkways and exercising space. Guests can take a short walk through the Park to reach Garton’s Ark. During regular hours, Garton’s Ark is docked at the Park; during Friday and Saturday nights, patrons will be able to enjoy their dinner as they glide down the waters of Diyawanna Oya (Parliament Lake), which is adjacent to the Wetland Park.
